We had a really stupidly wet spring. If more than a few raindrops fall at one time, our backyard turns into a lake. It took forever this year to dry out, and as a result we couldn't plant our garden when we normally like to. This is Natalee and Nathan on June 18th, finally planting the seeds. (Check out Nathan's new toy!!)
We had the chance to reconnect with lots of old friends this summer. It was awesome, but I'm not awesome at taking pictures. This is the Edwards clan enjoying a frozen treat on the driveway in Ogden.
Natalee made her bed almost every morning. When she was done doing that, she'd come in and make mine too. I feel bad I didn't photograph her best work, because she'd usually bring about 20 stuffed animals in to complete the look.
LAGOON!

We went to Lagoon in June with Grandpa Dean's work. It was fun to go with Bennett and Libby. It's really lame, but something is wrong with my picture folder and I can't get any pictures to load except for these. They're not the greatest, but you get the idea. We went to Lagoon-We had fun. There's not much else to say.
I went to Girl's Camp the second week of July. I didn't take a single picture while I was there, which was bad. I did take a picture before I left of the mess that was in my living room. I was the camp cook and as such had to buy all the food stuff. It was a little overwhelming. This is the night before we left with the non-refrigerated stuff all over the floor. Lovely, right?
Washington D.C.
Dallas was working in Washington, DC this summer. MarKey thought it would be fun for all of us to go and see him since he was in such an interesting and cool place. So Sunny, Mom, MarKey and I left our husbands and children and flew out. We were so happy that Skipper and Nia were able to drive down with the girls so that we could see them too.

This is my very happy little girl at the airport. Poor Nathan tried his hardest with her hair. All our kids and husbands were glad to see us and it was wonderful to come home!

Camp Family Reunion
We had a very large reunion with my Mom's family in Burrville the last weekend of July. It was so fun to see everyone, eat yummy food, hear stories and sing songs. We also celebrated my birthday. They had a bouncy house and pony to ride. We also pained faces and played lots of games. It rained every day and nothing smells as good as Burrville after rain! Nathan got an award for being the reunion handyman after he fixed a toilet seat and saved the day. We are told that they washed the old one before they gave it to him, and since it's family, I'm sure they wouldn't lie.

We went to the Webkinz Van Tour stop in Ogden where we kind of cleaned up. Natalee won about 10 packages of silly bands, 2 outfits, 5 packages of stickers, 5 figurines, 3 book marks and 3 pet carriers. Pretty good haul, I'd say. She was so happy to be covered in Webkinz stuff for a few hours.

Natalee got to go to two water parks this summer. MarKey and I took the kids a few weeks ago to Seven Peaks and last Thursday Dallas took Bennett and Natalee to Cowabunga Bay. Natalee has just had a blast!!!

Rachelle Got Married!!!

It doesn't seem quite possible, but our little niece, who was 3 minutes old when we got married (well, she was more like 6, but it seems so long ago) found the love of her life and married him on August 18th. That night they had a beautiful reception in South Jordan, in what Natalee thought was the most beautiful garden ever. They also had dang good brownies - always a plus.

Kari got us a sweet deal on Lagoon tickets so we were able to go one more time with some of our Harrison cousins.

Now it's back to school time. The summer has flown by, but we've had a lot of fun!!!

Good job summing up the summer. A tough job and you did it well.
