Blessings Tree

The first Monday in November, we made a Blessings Tree for Family Home Evening. Every night we each put on a leaf with something written on it that we are thankful for. It was a great way to focus on all the little things that make our lives great. I took it down today, but I wanted to list all the things we put on it. Some of Natalee's were quite hilarious, but it's good to know what's important to her. In no particular order, they are.....

- The Temple
- Decongestant (one of us had a cold this month)
- Chairs
- Piggy Banks
- Abby and Crew (Aunt Sharon's Dogs)
- School
- Food
- Daddy's Job
- Stuffed Animals
- Our Side Jobs
- Sunglasses
- Warm House
- Doors
- Soft Beds
- Pictures
- Tithing
- Birthdays
- Church
- Cars
- Toys
- Blankets
- Sister Youngdell and Sister Anderson (primary teachers)
- Natalee
- Speech Progress
- Grocery Stores
- Questar Rebate
- Dressers
- Mom and Dad
- Grandma and Grandpa Dean
- Busy Season is Over
- TiVo
- Books
- Smooth Texture Natural Fiber Powder
- Fun Trips
- Dolly
- Our Trip to Arizona
- Preferential Tire Treatment
- Aunt Sharon
- Other Aunts and Uncles
- Games
- Cousins

This was a fun activity and I think it's something I'll do every year from now on.

I think that is a neat idea.
I think a yearly tradition would be great. What is this natural fiber powder? I have never heard of it. Also, glad to see Aunt Sharon and Abby and Crew made the list. I love you guys. I so enjoy your visits. I wish you could come more often. I enjoyed having Natalee sleep with me and the dogs.

Natural fiber powder is Metamucil. :) So you have heard of it, but called by it's brand name, not it's descriptive name.
