Are all children as excited as mine for this day to arrive? In some ways she was more excited for today than Christmas.First of all, you are probably asking yourselves, what happened to Snow White? Well, when we went to Arizona, Becca and Annie (thanks by the way!!) gave Natalee some outgrown dress up dresses. Last Saturday we had a Halloween Carnival in the neighborhood and she went as Snow White. It was so cute! We even got black dye for her hair! My camera battery died and we didn't get a photo, but I didn't think we needed to since we'd have a repeat today. No such luck! She woke up this morning and told me that today she was being Tinkerbell. I asked why not Snow White and she said, "I was Snow White at the Carnival, I am being Tinkerbell for Halloween." Makes perfect sense, right? Then I had to, on the spur of the moment, figure out how to get her short Snow White bob up into a Tinkerbell bun. Not so easy.
This morning we got up and went to Saratoga Springs, picked up Bennett and MarKey. We had to scramble to a neighbor's house to get Bennett a costume since Uncle Jon took his to work this morning. Bennett got to be a Kangaroo for the first part of the day and Monkey for the second part.
Once we got him fully outfitted we went to Orem to Grandma Camp's. We played in her playroom and Bennett got a huge ouchie on his head. Then we went up the canyon, Grandma Great in tow to see Grandma and Grandpa Dean on Grandma's lunch hour. We missed Grandpa somehow, but it was fun for the kids to play in the Doctor's office for a while. Then we went to rescue Uncle Jon, who'd forgotten his wallet and was totally out of gas. When we got there Skip and Nia were just leaving with Madeline, so we got to get a picture with all of them!
After that was finished, we proceeded to the Ward Trunk or Treat. It was fun to see what people had done with their trunks. I don't know who won, but there were several contenders. After Daddy got home we went out officially Trick or Treating. We couldn't hardly keep Natalee in the house 3 seconds after he walked in the door. She wanted to fly like Tinkerbell and Nathan put her on his shoulders and run a little bit and she thought she was flying. It was cute. I am happy to report that she got several Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for herself and a couple of Kit Kats for me.
Now I can hear Nathan in her room, telling her about Halloween when he was a kid. His mom used to make homemade donuts for them to eat every Halloween. They'd eat them and have apple cider. He's telling her about how he used to dress up like a Hobo and she said, "What is really a hobo like?" She's so funny!
The following are my favorite photos of the day. My favorite one is Natalee and Grandma Great coloring. This is how my Grandma always dresses....she's got the sweetest accessories around!

cute, cute, cute, I love it. I knew you would have a post by now. I can hardly wait to check them. Hayden came by last night trick or treating, and he was the cutest little pumpkin.
LOVE the shoes!
It's about time you find something to match those shoes!!
Isn't that a girl thing? We can't wear the same outfit twice for the same thing!! I loved the outfit, and it sounds like you had a great time.
I think Natalie is a very cute Tinker Bell....much better than the daytime hooker! Good call mom
