Off to Neverland....

Well, we saved some of this:
And we packed some of these:
And on January 31st we drove to Salt Lake and got on this:

And when we landed we drove here:
Which on the inside it looks like this:

Then we got some dinner here:And tomorrow, I don't know what we'll do. Any guesses?
(This is to alert you to the three posts below. If you don't like happiness and smiles, I suggest you skip it.)

Disneyland

Could it be true? Are we finally here? HOORAY!

I am usually found crying at this point in the vacation. Yes, the happiest place on earth makes me cry.

Toon Town has never been my favorite place at Disneyland, however it probably is for my daughter. She loves all the little houses and seeing all the things that belong to the characters. She loves Minnie's house, and especially loves that there is nothing but cheese on the shopping list attached to her fridge. On our last morning we went to Toon Town Morning Madness, which we've never done before. It was really fun and it was nice to do the TT stuff without a crowd. We went on Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin for the first time ever and Natalee was delighted to get lunch from Daisy's Diner.

This was the best food. We ate there twice!

This is us stuck on Indiana Jones. Not cool in Natalee's book AT ALL. They did turn on the lights and I can now say that I know why that ride is so loud. We got to see 20 giant speakers stacked on top of each other blaring at us.

And we did...

Disney's California Adventure

I like Disney's California Adventure because it doesn't seem as crowded at Disneyland Park. We had lots of fun here, even on the days it was crowded. We got to see an Aladdin stage show, which was hilarious and amazing. We saw Turtle Talk with Crush and the Muppet 3D movie. Natalee's favorite rides were the ones in Bugs Land, Goofy's Sky School, Ariel's Undersea Adventure and Toy Story Mania.

After a little coaxing, we got Natalee to try The Tower of Terror.
She wasn't sure that she liked it, but was brave and went twice. As you can see, she was pretty scared that she was going to lose her flower. Silly girl.

Natalee loves sourdough bread. She was about out of her mind with happiness when
she got this soup and bread bowl for lunch one day.

We had lots of fun in Bugs Land, where there were almost no lines and lots of shade. We love being bugs!

These are from the new ride, "Ariel's Undersea Adventure". It's like you're watching the cartoon and the puppets are amazing.

It was quite dead the first two days and Natalee got to participate in some street shows. The Phineas and Ferb Dance party, where she got to show off her moves, and The Incredibles Hero Training. She had lots of fun.
There is a new show in The Redwood Creek Challenge where Russell from "UP" teaches you how to be a Wilderness Guide. It was cute and fun.
This is the Pluto that Natalee bought with her money. She loves him and has slept with him every night since.

Character Palooza

Natalee loved finding characters this trip. We were happy there were so many out and about for her to see. She loved getting their autographs and getting pictures with them. Here are some of our favorites.

Toy Story Gang

Mary Poppins and Bert

I've never seen Captain Hook, so this was kind of for me too.

PRINCESS PARTY
We actually saw this Cinderella twice. We saw her on our first day and then on the second day we spotted her with this mouse and Fairy Godmother. Natalee wanted to go and see her again and get the other signatures. When it was our turn Cinderella said, "Oh I remember you, I saw you yesterday," and Natalee was totally floored.

Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, smolder intact

POOH CORNER
This is probably my favorite character photo of the trip. Tigger is always so much fun!

Two more I've never seen before.
This Daisy Duck wouldn't hold still. She was wandering around looking in the shop windows on Main Street U.S.A. She took hold of Natalee's hand and they were shopping buddies for a few minutes. Natalee just laughed and laughed.

This cracked me up. Sully is so huge!

We saw Pluto several times. Natalee has a little obsession with dogs, so every time we spotted him we had to wait in the line to see him. Anyway, this was the best Pluto. He was sniffing Natalee head to toe and the handler person said, "Do you have a dog at home?" Natalee giggled and said, "YES, Pluto, can you smell my Dolly Dog?" He nodded and kept sniffing and the line to see him just got longer and longer while they played for a minute.

I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but our Day 1 Tinkerbell was the same person as our Day 4 Alice. I'm onto you Disneyland.

Russell
Dug

Goofy in his aviator uniform by Goofy's Sky School.

We kept missing Donald Duck by seconds it seemed every where we went. However, on the last day in Toon Town, we finally caught him. Magical!
