I showed this picture to Nathan and he got all germy saying we shouldn't have put the shucked corn on the ground since there was fertilizer on it. Well, luckily we haven't died yet.

Corn tower! Sadly, this was about half of it. We had lots of corn.
Here's Nathan and Natalee digging the potatoes in November. The last time we planted potatoes, I was pregnant with Natalee, so it's been a while. On one of the last few hills, Nathan started pulling out GIANT potatoes. They were big and beautiful. Then he pulled out this monster. I told Natalee, "I'll bet that weighs as much as you did when you were born." Well guess what? We weighed it and it weighs 1 lb. 8 oz.; exactly the same as she did at birth. Amazing!
So nine years ago we planted potatoes and got a 1 lb. 8 oz. baby. This year we got a 1 lb. 8 oz. potato. I love irony in the garden.

Oh man, that's one awesome tater (and kid). What a great story.
Yeah, I would have washed the crap out of the corn on the grass. I'm with Nathan. I'm certainly glad you didn't die.
