Book Report #2

In the second term, Natalee had to do a book report on a mobile. She read a book called "Highway Cats" which was about 3 abandoned kittens who were left by the side of the road and begin to interact with other stray cats. The kittens also may or may not have special magical powers. It was strange to say the least, and from the little parts I read, it was far above her grade level even though it was on the list for 2nd to 4th graders. Anyway, the point is that she read it and had to make a mobile to tell others about it.
About a month prior to having to do the report, we were at a craft store using a die cut machine for Primary. When we were trying to figure out what to do for the report, Natalee suggested we "go to Ben Franklin and get that thing with the paper that makes shapes." So that's what we did. It was cute seeing her pick out which cats to use and how to arrange them on a hanger. She got a very good grade and we were proud!
