The past 72 hours at our house have been a little rocky. Natalee came home from school like normal on Tuesday, but within a couple of hours she was laying on the couch and running a fever. I was sick last week and Nathan has been sick since Sunday, so we thought she'd just caught what we've had. By Wednesday night when we hadn't been able to get rid of the fever, we knew something else had to be wrong. I took her to a clinic and found out what the problem was: StrepThe doctor gave her a shot of antibiotics and sent us home. We got the fever to break that night and she's been on the mend. However yucky it is to have a sick kid, I must say there are some things I don't mind about sick days.
1- An 8 year old wanting to cuddle is never a bad thing
2- Popsicles and Pudding are diet staples
3- We've had a Pixar movie marathon
4- REDBOX!
5- No one got out of their pajamas for 24 hours
6- My house needed a good disinfecting
7- All the sheets in the house are clean....I love clean sheets
8- Games, games, games
9- Fun laying in bed and talking time
10- It's been like a mini-vacation
Thankfully she's on the mend. I probably could have sent her back to school today, but didn't want to over do it. Monday will be soon enough and by then we'll all be better.

Man my sick days are not like that. Depending on the kid, there could be a lot of grumpiness at our house. And I will admit the grumpiness isn't always from the kid. Glad Natalee is feeling better
