It's the Festival of Trees, HOORAY! This is one of our favorite family traditions and Natalee looks forward to it every year. I love that she knows that the money goes to help babies (and children) at the hospital. MarKey brought Bennett and Libby to share in the fun, and we loved having them there.
There are always several trees that have lots of toys around them. We didn't fully think about how that would affect our 3 year old. At one tree, he nearly escaped with a Buzz Lightyear, but then MarKey explained that the toys go with the trees and he can't have them. At another tree Bennett about broke our hearts when he asked in a very sweet voice, "I go in there?" Overall, he did really well and didn't try to take anything else.
This is how Libby enjoyed the Festival....sleep in Heavenly Peace.
Bennett loved the trees that had trains going around them. Fortunately there were several and when we found one, he parked on the floor for several minutes. We didn't mind on account of how cute he is.
This was Natalee's favorite tree. It was pink and covered with dogs. I know it was her favorite because she asked to borrow the camera and when I went through the pictures I took that night, there were 25 of this tree.
When we saw a Utah tree, Bennett made Utah Fingers and said, "Cheese." We teach them young and raise them right around here. This picture is horrible because Natalee took it.
They loved the Kids craft area this year. They both made a creature, but we managed to not get kicked out like last year. Bennett got some sweet glasses in the fish pond and they both loved talking to an Elf.Afterwards we went to dinner at Sweet Tomatoes.
We had a blast and were so glad that MarKey was able to join us!

I have only been to the festival of trees onces and I can't remember if Brett was with me or not. I think if we are ever there during the festival I could like to talk my girls to it.
