We had a lot of fun on the 24th. We went to visit mom and dad and had a picnic in the park, rode the carousel at Zermatt, fed ducks, played in a stream, got snow cones, rode a tractor train, watched the big fireworks and did some of our own. It was a busy day, but very fun. Natalee and Bennett had a ball.
If anyone is ever in Midway, I highly recommend the Swiss Sno booth on main street. Holy cow! I am NOT a snow cone fan at all, but they were really good. The ice was flaky and melted right in your mouth. The syrup was not too sweet. Plus, they are fairly cheap; $2 for a small, which was a 12 oz cup with about 4 additional inches coming out the top. Nathan and I shared a grape, Natalee got the raspberry (which will turn your mouth very blue), Dallas got peach pineapple, Mom got lime and MarKey got the Bahama Mamma. All were very yummy!

I'm currently loving snowcones so I'm tempted to drive up and get one! You guys have been quite the travelers this summer and it looks like you've had so much fun! And no, I don't get sick of your long comments - I love them!!
