Two years ago, my birthday was ruined by a mosquito bite on Natalee's leg that turned into Cellulitis. We spent several hours in a instacare/pharmacy getting her checked out and fixed.
This is what mosquito bites look like at my house:
They blow up on her so huge and the entire surrounding area gets red and puffy. They hurt and itch. I hate the little buggers SO BAD! I just don't see the point of the stupid blood sucking insects!
Last night we were out around 5:30 and one landed on me. Immediatly we picked her up, ran for the house and sprayed her with repellant. I don't know how the heck 4 of them got her before we got in the house. It was seriously less than a minute. This really is an annoyance with myself more than anything. I just can't let her go out without spraying her down. Either that or she's just confined to the house after 4 pm.
Also, I'm sick and tired of killing these spiders in my house.
This was the second one today, fifth one this week. They are all the same kind and they all meet the same fate.
Please, please, please, please, please stay out of my house.
I promise I'll let you live if you just stay outside.

Well, have you ever heard of pest control. I just have the bug man come once a month. It doesn't help with the mosquito"s though. I remember when I was young I always got bitten by misquito's. I would scratch them to death. I have them too. We are having a fun time trying to move Sunny and Court. The heat is not too fun when you have to be out in it. Going up and down those stairs is a lot of fun ttoooooo.
Have you seen those new clip on repellants? I think it is made by "Off" Then you don't have to spray your whole body. They look pretty cool, I don't know if it repells people, but what a concept!
That's totally how my mosquito bites look. It's a lot better in my adulthood, but I remember having enormous, hot, red welts with every bite. I think I just toughed them out, I don't remember being taken to the Dr. or anything. Anyway, good luck with this summer. I've heard the mosquitoes will be crazy bad this year...sorry to say.
I also hate any bugs that sting. The thought of getting stung freaks me out.
