Done, fineto, audios
This morning I said something to Natalee about today being the last day that Miss Patten would be her teacher. She said, "No, I'll see her when I go back for first grade." I said, "Yes, you can see her, but she won't be your teacher." Then she got really sad. I think all this time she's thought that you get one teacher and that is your teacher for life. And I do have to say that if that were the way it is, this lady would be a great one to be stuck with for 13 years.
She's been so great and Natalee has just loved her. In fact, I think all the kids have. The new little Kindergarteners who get her next year will be very lucky indeed.Over the last couple of weeks Natalee has had lots of fun at school. There were two field trips, their program, a field day, a fun run, her first taste of school lunch and lots of other end of year stuff.
All the kids did a great job at the program. They sang about 12 songs. Natalee was a flag holder during the "Star Spangled Banner", and she was so proud to open up the show.
At the farm field trip they got to watch a horse do some jumps, they got to brush one down and see how they hold their hooves to put on shoes. Pretty nifty stuff.
We walked to the park and played and fed ducks. Here is Natalee on the side of the merry go round, since they were going too fast for her to jump on.
Which brings us to today.....
Last Hug!
Finally, here is our Kindergarten Graduate, jumping for joy!
Oh, I love summer, I'm so glad it's here!

Last Hug!Miss Patten did a luau for the kids today with the limbo, hula lessons and fruit kabobs. Natalee had a blast! She's loved her Kindergarten year so much. It's sad to see it come to an end, but we know she's ready.
After school we went to Salt Lake and picked up dad for a Last Day of School dinner date at Sweet Tomatoes. It's Natalee's most favorite place to go out to eat. She always eats so much, we wonder where she puts it!

Oh, I love summer, I'm so glad it's here!Life is slow and lazy, it's the best time of the year.
No school til September, that's how it ought to be.
I love summer, and summer loves me.
