Starring: Tim Allen, Wendy Crews, Judge Reinhold and Eric LloydPlot: A semi deadbeat father accidentally kills Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. He puts on the suit and becomes the new Santa.
Favorite Moments:
-I love when they find the ladder and it's made by the Rose Suchuck Latter Company. Charlie had asked what "Arose such a clatter" meant, so it was a play on that.
-When Scott starts to gain weight and his beard starts coming in is so funny.
-The board meeting where he orders 6 desserts.
-The preperations for Christmas at the North Pole. They make it look like such a huge production, which I suppose it would be.
-When the little kids are lined up to sit on Scott's lap at the soccer game. The look on the mother's face is so classic.
-The end when Scott gives Laura the game and Neil the weenie whistle.
Quotes: Holy cow! I love every interaction between Scott and Neil, or anything Scott says about Neil. Here are my favorites.
Charlie: I learn alot from him (Neil). He listenes to me.
Scott: Yeah, and then he charges you for it.
-----
Scott: Are you going to your mom's for dinner.
Laura: We're going with Neil's family.
Scott: Ah, dinner at the pound.
-----
Neil: Scott, we're worried about you.
Scott: The only thing you need to worry about is where you're going to buy your sweaters after the circus pulls out of town.
-----
Scott: Where is he?
Laura: Well, he could be listening to records, jumping up and down on his bed wearing a red hat and galoshes.
Scott: I don't care what Neil's doing, where's Charlie?
-----
Neil: Scott, what's the last thing you and Charlie did before you went to bed on Christmas Eve?
Scott: We shared a bowl of sugar, did some shots of brown liquour, played with my shot guns, field dressed a cat, looked for women....I read him a book!
Neil: What book?
Scott: Hollywood Wives...The Night Before Christmas, folks, COME ON!
-----
I can't really think of any non-Neil related quotes. Gosh, they are just so funny. Anyway, I love the transformation that Scott goes through, from being someone who was just kind of a good father, to someone who really loves his kid and becomes a better person. Now, in case you are wondering, there will be no Santa Clause sequels on this list....those were bad! But this one is great! Love it!

Yea, something to read this wonderful Monday morning. It is a little cold here today, but I won't complain too much. It is better than where you are.....
Actually, it's not been too terribly cold. We had someone borrow our tiller on Saturday to mix leaves into their garden. The ground isn't frozen, but it does get really cold at night.
Don't be shocked....but we've never seen this movie. But now that you've put it on your top 10 we might give it a try.
When are you coming for that cinnamon roll demo?
I dunno....tomorrow...I WISH!
