I think I could potentially have a million blog posts with this title....here's the most recent.I keep a box of store bough cookies for Darling Child to eat as a bedtime snack. Tonight I was getting her cookie and decided to have one myself, and why shouldn't I? I've spent the whole day with her, cooked her 3 meals, got the ripe veggies out of the garden, folded the laundry and gave her a bath. Clearly it was reward time.
I made my way up the stairs where she was waiting. I had her cookie and milk in one hand and my cookie (MY COOKIE) in the other hand, munching away. She said, "Mommy, why you eating my cookie?" I replied, "I wanted one, don't you want to share your cookies?"
Her answer: "Ummmm, not really."

You have one smart child. She has learned at a young age sweets don't have to be shared, just everything else does.
