Sea World ~ July 30th

Nathan had training in California the first week of August. We decided to go a little early and spend a little family time together. The first place we went was Sea World. I called Sunny the morning that we left to ask her a question and when she found out where we were going, she and her husband decided that they would come too. It made for a very fun day. It was a cool 65 degrees the whole day and we never saw the sun, but in some ways that made it even better. And if anyone has some extra cash laying around, Natalee would sure like this car.
This is Natalee's Sea World boyfriend. Isn't he cute? He was in charge of the touch pool and she followed him around asking all kinds of questions and he was telling her fun facts about all the animals. She was telling me what "John" had said about this animal or that animal. At one point I asked her something that she didn't know and she said, "I don't know, let's go find John." I don't know if he got tired of her or not, but she was sure happy to have someone so close to talk to about sea creatures.
Of course we had to feed the dolphins and it was the highlight as always. Natalee grinned from ear to ear the whole time. The girl is such a dolphin freak.

Sunny loves doin' the Sham Slam.
Hayden apparently loves maps. Once he discovered a map (which sadly was several hours past when it should have been) he wouldn't put it down. When we were deciding where to go he'd find where we were and then point which direction we needed to go. It was kind of amazing that he was right. I think he must have inherited the Map Loving gene from Uncle Leslie.
Hayden got really tired. He found this bed in an exhibit and he layed down to take a rest.

We sat down to watch the fireworks and then went home. It was a super fun day and we were so happy thatSunny, Court and Hayden came to share it with us.
