I love radishes. I don't like to eat radishes, but Nathan does, so we plant them in our garden each year. Even though I don't eat them, I do love them. I love them for the same reason that I love crocuses. Crocuses are the first flower that comes up, usually through the snow and it gives me such hope that one day winter will end. Radishes are the first thing that comes up in the vegetable garden and it just gives me such hope for all the yummy veggies (that I do eat) which will soon follow.Wednesday, June 30, 2010

I hate radishes too, unless they're sliced thin and smothered in ranch dressing. So maybe what I'm saying is that I like ranch dressing with a tiny radish crunch. Or that I like ranch dressing and need a 'healthy' reason to get it into my mouth. Whatever the case, maybe try it and see if you like them then!!
I love how you love radishes...but not actually eating them. I've never planted them, but I'd say being first to come up in the garden is a great reason to love radishes.
Incidentally, I don't eat them either, but I've always thought they were a most adorable little food.
And thanks for the hilarious commentary on the Annie swearing/birthday post.
