Our States

We had an anniversary this week, but did we take any pictures? Nope, not a one. We did have a nice day. Nathan took the day off work and we went to lunch and saw "Date Night." It was pretty funny and it was nice to go to a movie in the middle of the day with my sweetie. Then we picked Natalee up from school and saw "Oceans" and went out to dinner as a family. That movie was awesome! It was actually pretty funny that we rarely all go out to a movie and then we saw two in the same day. I highly recommend either one.

Anyway, I was thinking about our trip and about driving in general and thought about how much you miss by flying. I know that it takes much less time, but driving across this country is something that I'm glad I got to do again. I don't want to do it all the time, but it was fun. Something we did that was fun was we stopped at all the state lines that we crossed for a picture. If you count Tennessee (where we had a layover on the way home) we were in 9 states in 12 days. I think that's pretty impressive. Here are all the places we stopped.
Colorado got the prize for the "Arts and Crafts" sign. It appeared to be handmade, but it looks quite a bit better in the photo than it did in person.
From this view, wouldn't you just think this was the most enchanting place ever?

We went 5 miles (10 round trip) out of our way just to say that we'd "been" to Oklahoma.

You're in America...speak American!
Despite what it looks like in this picture, I am not 22 months pregnant.
This was on the way back from the beach. My mom fell down in the water and then stole my pants for the drive home since her's were wet from multiple sources.....don't ask. So, I looked like a weirdo on the drive home with my swim skirt and T-shirt.
These are the pants she stole. They are so comfy.

I cannot believe you took the time to stop and get pictures of every sign. I am not sure that would have been allowed if I had come along. Reason #87 why we are all glad I didn't go.

what the heck is your e-mail address? I am not getting anything to go to you. I did have something wrong, Markey sent me one, and I am not getting it to work either. I have n8shi@comcast.com, I was using comcast.net. So, help me out here. Love the state signs and especially the swimsuit t-shirt ones.

I think I would have stole the pants back for the picture. You look a bit silly.
