Neglect and Chicken

I feel like I've been neglecting this blog. I've been neglecting a few other things in my life. It's not that we haven't done anything fun. Hayden and his gorgeous momma were here for 12 days and I didn't post a single thing about that, now did I. We had a fun dinner at a Chinese restaurant where Natalee took some funny pictures, but I didn't post that either. I just haven't had the motivation. It's why my bedroom currently looks like a tornado hit the place. I think I have that Seasonal disorder where you're depressed in the winter. Maybe I'm blaming it on that. Anyway, after I get my room tidied, I plan to update more. Until then, you might enjoy this. I made this for dinner a few weeks ago with the intent of posting it. But then I forgot, like I forgot to fold the excess laundry and found it dumped out of the basket by the chair in my room. I've been forgetting quite a lot lately. So I was looking at pictures last night and thought, "Why in the world did I take a picture of chicken....oh yeah, because this dinner really rocked my socks." If you like chicken, BBQ sauce and bacon, this is for you. I made it up, I don't know what to call it. How about:
Rock Your Socks BBQ Chicken
4 Chicken Breasts, cut in thirds
1 piece of bacon per chunk
BBQ sauce to cover
Wrap the chicken in the bacon. Drench in sauce. Cover and bake at 350 for 30ish minutes. Enjoy.
I served mine with a rice pilaf and broccoli.

Um...YUM! I'm totally going to try that - especially since I just bought bbq sauce for the first time ever.

I was just wondering what I should make for dinner. At my house i think that is the most awful question I ask myself. Where is my cheif? That looks really good. Maybe we will have Rocks your socks off chicken.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one with "Seasonal Blog Depression". Not that I am happy you are suffering...but glad to hear that I am not alone in my lack of blog, and laundry motivation.....I am going to make Rock Your Socks Off Chicken for dinner! That looks awesome!

I'm blushing!! I haven't posted a single thing about my trip there either........mainly because I'm still waiting for a certain picture. That, and my house slightly resembles a tornado as well.......
