Skipper thinks he looks sophistocated in his cartigan. He's having us over for sherry and pipe smoking in the parlor later. Madeline and Nia are sporting "Princess" hair. You can't see it, but Nia even broke out her green eyeshadow for the event.
You can't see it, but MarKye's gingerbread men have very misplaced buttons. It was almost r-rated. Jon's sweater had a 3-D pinecone and Bennett's favorite element was the horsie on his back.
The picture on my sweater is homage to all the cats killed on the roads each year. It does look like it's been run over a few times, doesn't it? Nathan's vest has real ribbons and beads to add to the festiveness. The funniest thing about our sweaters is that when I brought them home from DI, Nathan and I were trying them on and laughing hysterically. Natalee came in the room and said, "You guys! (paused for dramatic effect) YOU LOOK GREAT!!!" We figured if a 7 year old thought they looked great, they must have been very tacky indeed.

That sounds like a fun tradition. Can you repeat the sweater or do you find a new one each year.
Awesome. Just awesome.
My sister was gong to a tacky-Christmas sweater party and was asking my grandma if she could borrow one of her "fun Christmas sweaters". We all did our best to keep a straight face while my flattered grandma found some for her. I'm sure she thought: "Wow, I must be pretty snazzy if my grandkids want to borrow my clothes!"
you and nathan win!
Our ugly sweater contest is this Saturday. I have a feeling Randon and my brother Nate will be pulling out all the stops. I love that Grandma's sweater almost always wins and she never knows she is in a competition. I think you and Nathan look like the winners!
Your family as THE best parties. How is it that I have never heard of a tacky-Christmas sweater party?
