Thinking of Flu

This morning I got up very early to go to Salt Lake to hang out with 2,000+ of my closest friends to wait in line for an H1N1 Flu vaccine. Our number one priority was to ensure that Bennett got one, but since I volunteer in the NICU and MarKey is under 24 (and 364 days) we also qualified. Let's just say I really wish I had taken my camera because it was a crazy scene. I got in a line that stretched about a mile and waited for 3 hours. Overall it was not a bad experience and we got our shots with no problem. When I got home Nathan told me that Natalee had written me this note while he was on the phone. I was so glad that she was thinking of me.
A couple of cute things while I'm thinking about it.
****
Natalee wants several new Webkinz pets. I tried to explain to her that you can't always find THE one you want because they only make so many of each pet and sometimes they retire the pets and don't make any more. This was at least an hour long conversation, but that was the jist. Natalee has a friend over yesterday and while they were chatting along they started talking about Webkinz. Natalee said, "Sometimes you can't find all the pets you want because they are really, really tired."
****
Tuesday before piano lessons I told Natalee a specific place to wait for me when she was done. When I picked her up she asked if she was in the right place. I said yes and she said, "I knew it! I have a really big memory, don't I mom?"
****
The other night I was listening to Natalee and Nathan playing in the other room. There was kind of a crash followed by Natalee saying, "Don't worry Daddy, I am totally OK."

The rule is that you have to be less than 24 and 364 days, in other words, if your 25th birthday was tomorrow, you can get the shot today. MarKey is 24. :) Don't worry, you're still 29.
