Natalee was singing at the table while she was coloring and this is what I overheard, "I often go knocking in treasures of Grover."I was so proud on Mother's Day that my kid was singing so well, now I know that she might be singing well, even if she doesn't have a clue what the words are. (Which, by the way is, "I often go walking in meadows of clover".)

Last night Nathan was putting her to bed and she asked him to tell her a story about when he was little. He chose the story of when he got hit in the mouth with a swing and had to go to the doctor to get stitches. When they were all piling in the station wagon to get him stitched up, someone shut his foot in the door. Great bedtime story, right? Anyway Natalee asked what he was wearing and they had the following conversation:Nathan: I don't remember.
Natalee: Did your shirt have a dog on it?
Nathan: No, I don't think so.
Natalee: Did it have a bird on it?
Nathan: Umm, probably not.
Natalee: Did it have a cat on it?
Nathan: I can't remember, but it probably didn't have anything on it.
Natalee: Did it have stripes?
Nathan: Sure.
Natalee: YES! I got it!
