We had a party for Mom on her birthday. Someone thought it was a costume party and brought their baby dressed as Joe Dirt.
Anyway, Mom had what she thought was a terriffic idea. My brother Dallas who is currently in Peru loves to take pictures of himself and others jumping. He's really good, not only at jumping, but also at capturing these pictures. Mom thought he'd just love it if we all took jumping pictures.

Anyway, Mom had what she thought was a terriffic idea. My brother Dallas who is currently in Peru loves to take pictures of himself and others jumping. He's really good, not only at jumping, but also at capturing these pictures. Mom thought he'd just love it if we all took jumping pictures. I was the only one with a camera outside, so it was decided that I would take all the pictures. We quickly found out that I'm not very good at capturing the mid air moment. Here are two of Skipper, one just before and one just after he jumped. He doesn't usually looks this, shall we say, happy?

Eventually we got it figured out. Most of these were taken by Skipper. You can blow these up to get the full effect of the spectacular jumps. I'd like everyone to be especially impressed by my pregnant sister in law. She's almost 8 months along and is one great jumper! My nearly 60 year old father decided it would be cool if he got on top of his new workshop and jumped. Mom thought he was going to fall, but he didn't!

Snotts and Grandma tried their best.
This is my favorite one. It's not only a very good group shot, but it also captures the moment that these four broke the sandbox.
Nathan couldn't be at the party, so I got his picture today. Natalee had to show him how to do it.

And what of mother, the woman with the great idea in the first place? Well, due to my inability to snap the picture in time, we ended up with stuff that looks a lot like this.

She really hurt her leg and there was this thing sticking out of it. I got quite the tongue lashing from Natalee for making Grandma jump and hurt herself.

This is what it looked like in the morning. I think she was really sad that we didn't get a better shot of her. She said it's feeling better today and she really hopes that Dallas likes these pictures.

Oh man, I missed a good party that time. I will have to take jumping pictures of the Arizona part of his family for him. And yes, good job Nia, also, love the Joe Dirt outfit. Only thing missing was the mullet!!
Brave souls to do all that jumping. I am afraid mine would have ended up like grandma. Looks like you had a fun time. I hope that Dallas appreciates all your hard work. I sure enjoyed all the pictures. Yea NIA
You are all so sweet. And I love you.
Love it! I am a jumping picture taker too! We call them action shots - I especially like the first ones you tried! Too Fun.
Ha ha ha ha! Those are so funny! What is my husband doing in those pictures though?!
And thanks for the comments about me everyone! I am surprised that I was able to get off the ground too!
