I Don't Like Nia Being Mad at Me

Nia doesn't like being reminded when she comes to my blog about the mediocrity of a certain football program which shall remain nameless. (I jest...kind of).
Anyway, she asked if we don't ever do anything worth blogging about, so I managed to put this together for her. It's not much, but it's all I've got.
Today we went out to luch as a family to Tucanos. What better way to prepare for Thanksgiving tomorrow than to stuff ourselves today, right? Anyway, it was very fun. For anyone who's been to Tucanos (or Rodizio or Braza Grill) you know that they give you these little tong thingys to grab your meat off the skewers. Natalee thought you were supposed to eat the meat with those. So she ate everything else with her fork and spoon and then picked up the meat and ate it with the tongs. It was so funny. She called it "my special fork."

At the end of the meal the waiter brought over "the naughty tray" and showed us all the desserts. Natalee said she wanted the ice cream and Daddy came through. Seriously, it was a like a strawberry milkshake topped with whipped cream in a deep fried, cinnamon and sugar coated tortilla bowl.

AWESOME!

Daddy had to go to a meeting for a while after lunch, so Natalee and I hung out at The Gateway. At one point, we went to look at the fountain. Natalee was just watching the splashes and running around the perimeter, when all of a sudden she looked at me and said, "Hey Mommy, do you dare me to run through it?" I said, "NO! I do not dare you to run through it." Since it was 40 degrees today, that would be like daring your kid to catch pneumonia.

Ahhh, my cute little fearless sprout.

There Nia, happy now?

Ha ha! I wasn't mad at you, just disappointed in your desicions :)

Hopefully you will repent soon :)

It looks like you all had a blast!

Sunny, Neil chose to gray shirt this year so he will have 4 years of eligibility when he gets back from his mission. It was doubtful he would get to play this year, so that is what he decided to do.

Well Nia, that explains why BYU lost.

That does explain it! I knew there was something. I guess we have 2 years to come around to the "right" way of thinking so that we can root for BYU when Neil gets home.
