What We're Doing Without Dad - Part 2

Thursday night we went to tend Spencer and Annie's kids while they went on a date for her birthday. The kids played great together and just when it started getting tense, Sam decided he wanted to watch a movie. However, apparently I'm having a problem with technology this week because I couldn't figure out how to work their VCR. So instead of Aladdin, they had to settle for The Sword in the Stone. Not a fair trade, in my opinion, but they looked pretty happy/satisfied.

On Thursday Natalee got to bring home the Show and Tell Box. FINALLY!!! She's been asking since week one (and I do realize that's not been that long ago, but it's been a nearly every day occurance) when she'll be able to bring home the box. They were supposed to put something in it that they love. This should come as a HUGE shock, but Bianca went in the box. She also wanted to take two other animals, which her teacher assured me was just fine. She took the animals back on Friday and she told me that everyone loved them.

As a side note, after I got done doing Nat's hair before school she looked in the mirror and said, "I love my hair mommy! I look like a goat." Goat isn't really what I was going for, but whatever.
During school I ran a whole bunch of errands, however forgot the most important thing on my shopping list - KETCHUP!
Why ketchup you ask? Because after school I had to boil these
for this:We had the practice for our Primary Progam last night. Oh, it was crazy and just insane enough to make you think the whole program is going to be horrid. However, having been through it before, I know it won't be. Anyway, I boiled 118 hot dogs to feed to the kids after the practice. Why 118 you ask? That's an odd number considering that hot dogs come in packages of 8. Well, two of them went on the floor, much to the delight of the Dolly Dog.
Today I have Super Saturday and I have to copy all the programs for tomorrow. This afternoon I've got dinner out with my mom, grandma, sister and sister-in-law. My sweet sister in law then got us tickets to the General RS Broadcast. I've got a lot to do, so why am I sitting here?
Daddy, please come home!! It's not fun without you here. I missed you being my go to guy last night as I fed nearly 100 people. Natalee misses you putting her to bed and playing Zoo. Apparently I don't play it right. Dolly also misses you and she's been barking all night long at the slightest sound. So come home, OK? Maybe I'll save you a peanut butter brownie.

I hope you had fun at the Broadcast. Hayden decided to puke all over me just as I was leaving. That turned into a fun night!
