Today is the first really, real (as Natalee would say it) day of school. Natalee was so excited to go and despite my sadness, I am excited for her too. She was so cute. She picked out her own outfit and told me how to do her hair. She told me we had to take her big backpack, not her preschool backpack. She got her homework all ready to go and in the backpack by herself. When we got ready to leave she said,"Backpack...Check! Homework....Check!"
I think my days will get less entertaining now for sure.
This was the last shot before we left home. She had to be holding Bianca, but as always was so good to leave her when the time came. She gave me all the instructions on the way to school about how I am to care for Bianca in her absence. This includes feeding her, playing with her, putting her down for a nap and putting her back in the carseat when I come to pick her up. So much to remember. How will I keep it all straight?

We got to school. (See her little homework assignment in her hand?)I didn't even cry. Well, I got slightly teary, but I didn't full on cry. Oh no, my crying was reserved for something earlier in the day.
THIS, yes this silly paper towel holder caused me to break down.
Natalee finished her breakfast and apparently needed a towel. She came over and reached clear up and got it herself. She wiped her mouth and said, "Mommy, I'm really a big girl now, am I." I just burst into tears. Then she came over and hugged my leg and said, "It's OK Mommy. I'm really proud of you."
Yes sweetie, you are. It's official. You are a big girl now and I'm proud of you too.

That made me a little teary as well. Wait till MarKey reads this post! Good job miss Nat, you are a very big girl and I hope that your Mom knows how to take care of Bianca as well as you do!
Is it cold enough there to be wearing long sleeves?
It was cold enough today, but tomorrow it'll warm up.
Oh that girl is so cute.
